About Carla

As a teacher for the last 18 years, I have had the privilege to teach in many different environments and social settings. I have worked with students from very different backgrounds and countries, and this has allowed me to discover the richness and magnificence of each individual. My commitment to my students is to provide them with the right amount of support, tools and encouragement to develop the skills and confidence they need so they can apply their learning in their everyday life. I believe that the most important part of teaching is making people feel comfortable and helping them open up to the gifts of a new language. I want to facilitate the learning process so that each person learns based on their interests and abilities in order to develop their communication skills. I am fun, a strong conversationalist and listener. I am here to be part of your Spanish journey not only introducing you to the language itself but also the rich culture that comes with it.
